Default OK, question for you Cig guroos

What year did they change the cabins in the Cafe's and the Top Guns? I'm talking about early to mid 90's guns and cafes.

Also, what year did they change from the stainless railings to the powder coated flat style railings?

Thanks.

Tank

We have a 1991 Top Gun with the newer cabin layout and the newer rails. The thing is, I have seen other 1991 Top Guns with the old style cabin. I'm going to say 92 was the first year of the new style cabin all the time.

I have also seen '94s with the old style stainless rails so I can't answer you honestly, but I'm going to say '95 was the first year of the powder coated flat railings all the time.

Mine is the one with the Cig oval in the middle of the sun pad.

Hope this helps-
LS JR.

LS JR,

Thanks for the reply, I knew you'd have some good input for me.

C.L.,

I don't know about that. There are some nice Cafe's for better prices than on guns right now. Plus I only want to spend right around 80k. But I want the updated cabin and would rather have the powder coated railings, so basically I want around a 95 cafe or gun. We'll see. I have to sell my boat first. Working on that now.

Tank,

What kind of boat do you have for sale, and what do you want for it?

If you are interested in a Gun like ours, with the updated cabin, powder coated rails, and new engines and exhaust (all receipts). Sounds like we have is what you are looking for. Let me know and I will try and put a deal together he would be happy to take a smaller trade.

LS Jr. I have looked at your boat in the classifieds and do like it. But like I said, I need to sell mine first. I'll PM you and give you the details. Thanks for the reply again.

Alright, your PM is full but in short I've looked at your boat on line and I really do like it. It is what I want but I'm not in a position to buy right now. I don't think I'll be ready to buy until early winter.

Like I said, I'm looking for an early to mid 90s gun or Cafe with the new style interior (cabin and cockpit) and railing, good turn key/reliable power and I need a trailer.

I"m selling a 1997 24' Baja Outlaw SST w/ fresh Merc 525SC MSD ignition, super chiller, sea strainer, GIl dry exhaust, WPM twin ram hydro steering, etc etc etc I had the bravo drive freshened (though it was fine) when I put the motor in. The twin axle trailer was completely torn down to the metal w/everything replaced: axles, brakes, leaf springs, lights, rims, etc etc etc.

motor/trailer/drive and everything else was done in mid 2003 at a cost of 20K. 75 hrs on turn key package.

600 watt stereo (10 speakers, including 2 12" subs) twin batteries w/ isolator, cockpit and full cover. I'm asking 40k. If you guys know anyone interested, that would be great.

Thanks again.

Best Regards,

Tank Sears
