It is pretty cool. They now have matching bezels. Mine been acting up all summer.

Remember there are 3 settings one is off/the second is on/the third it stays up and flashes SOS in morse... so don't think it is acting up if it flashes ...---... repetitively

Mine just would not go back down. No SOS feature on new model - doesn't shine in your eyes like the old one.
