Re: 95 Cig 20' why only Bravo III or Blackhawk
I also installed a gps speedo in my twenty. So that should give me/us a reliable speed reading. My set up has a 260 merc with a mild after market cam (I was told it is worth around 300-320hp., We'll see. ) mated to an alpha SS. Was also told she tops out at 65mph (supposedly switching to the SS drive caused a jump in speed by 7 mph to 65) I should have her ready to splash soon to see if I'm going to need to repower or not. If so I will change out the drive also.

Re: 95 Cig 20' why only Bravo III or Blackhawk
Uncle Ernie is really behind on his e-mail........
JGB....Running a 25P Mirrage @ 4500 rpm I'm at 67 mph (stock mag-motor). Was kinda hoping to make it to 70+ without going the hop-up route (I'm big on dependability). Really wanted to get a 23P on there this summer and see what I would get for speed @ 5000-5200 rpm. Of course that's easier now (hit something labor day at about 65 mph......... ouch). So I'll be getting a new prop any way. Mr. Baldwin, Count me in next summer. I think that could be a pretty cool run up the coast to check out some like minded fellow's. Probably could get some of the frog-town boys to go too (well, if they're allowed  ). I know "rws" has a pretty sweet '74 with a 383 stroker (among other toys) here in Toledo, and it seems like he knew of a another one. Careful though, you get enough of these little buggers in one place and there won't be a Cruiser Wake safe in the harbor :drink: Seems to be more of these than you would expect (made maybe 200 of them total '74-'95?) around Western Erie. I'll have to post some pictures of the The-Cigarette-Butt (a really short cigarette - don't ya know). :D :D :D |

May Be We Can Get Cig 3 To Come Over Too :d
THOUGH HIS IDEA OF INVADING THE PIB WITH A BUNCH OF NOISY-OLD-RESINE-BUCKETS SOUNDS LIKE IT COULD BE FUN TOO. :drink: |

Reeeeaaallly. What's that going to be like (ie: same old style, or changeing up?). Mine is still pretty solid and cleans up well(for 20 years old). But had wondered what kind of money that would cost? (current boat part-pricing experience......guess the most it could possibly cost, then double it ....yeah that's about right  ) Uncle Ernie :drink: |
