Wild and total time warp to go back to the first thread and start scrolling the pages. 20 years ago when some of these were new and some only a few years old and some old faces. To see how many times they have changed hands to where they are today is pretty cool.

It's kind've a trip to see boats on here that you're like, "oh yea, I remember that thing" but haven't seen it in 20 years. Trippy to see the boats that have changed hands like you said. Some still pop up all the time for sale and some are MIA never to be seen. I find it odd. Cool we have this thread to look through though.

For prosperity sake. Here's the two previous cigs we've owned and the current.

For sure Tank. I have followed all of your posts and builds along with many of the others, RWD is t!ts on a ritz! Glad she is in great hands! I've been on OSO I think since 2002 when I was in the boat biz many moons ago, I just don't post much but still come here multiple times a day, it's still my addiction lol. I hope to someday go-fast again but being in the car biz there is so little time right now and the boat market is insane. Before it was a sport for everyone, now you seriously have to pay to play more-so than ever before. These boats from 20+ years ago to even 10 years ago were still somewhat affordable, now many of the oldies but goodies need a lot of $$$ to update to make reliable and the ones that are updated are out of the price range of many. From Baja's to Cigs to Hustlers, stuff I've owned and sold, all the cool stuff from the past takes a small fortune to keep running today. I remember when we were looking for a Gladiator, they could be bought in the 70's and 80's, now you can't touch one for under $150-200K. I think all of us at one time or many times say "Man I wish I would have kept that", I know with the Glad's I've said 2 or 3 times now when we were looking, Man, I should have bought that! Cheers bud.

1992 Bullet

1994 Top Gun

1988 Top Gun

1988 Bullet

These are the Cigs I’ve had starting in 2010… love them all for different reasons. The Bullet I have now is probably the nicest and the fastest of them all. I enjoyed looking at everyone else’s Cigs on this thread this morning….they are all awesome boats!

the gladiator and TS gun prices just blow me away. 8 years ago the boats were newer and way less. Crazy. Yeah, I wish I picked up a gladiator for 80k!! lol

Did the 88 Gun become “old School”
also, that bullet is super nice! Have you posted pics of that before? I’m getting old. I can’t remember sh*t anymore. What’s the power? Who did the updates?

When I bought my boat in 2016, this was the first thread I went through. I was hoping to find the original or second owner, I was curious to see what graphics it had on it when it left Lip-ship in 1996. With no luck, I contacted Phil and he didn't remember that paint job but vaguely remembered the boat name and owner name (Insouciant III, Lee R. Goldstein). He owned it from 96-2011'ish and must have upgraded from the 502 MPI's (Which I have the original warranty cards) to the 525SC's in 97/98. The owner lived at Mystic Towers close to 188th and I believe the boat spent a lot of time on a rack till 2011'ish when it was sold to Charles Arnao and it spent time between Miami/somewhere in the NE Coast (I have to look at my records when I get home on what city). Carter bought it in 2015/2016 and sold to VortechSS pretty quick and I purchased in late 2016. Carter had sent me a 3" binder of info on the boat, which was awesome! But sill would love to know the original paint scheme it left Phil with, Cigarette on the bow and Cigarette Top Gun on the sides are Blue and Silver which is original to this day. The interior and cabin had blue accents and blue carpet with a red cover. If anyone knew the two original owners let me know.

Hope to have it back in the water for 2025!!

Beautiful Gun for sure man. I remember when you bought it, I think I met you at Ticfaw that year or something or remember us talking about it back then. I know you have put a ton of blood, love and sweat into her, lucky man!
