As far as the condition, it is in exactly like I posted previously, please reread my posting on that. I did not say it was in rough shape or anything like that. Just that it needed attention to one of the transom assembles, one of the drives had been replaced (which the original owner also mentioned to my buddy), both had been repainted, and the strakes have been worked on. Interior was in great shape. I did not get to see in the motor compartment at that time, which I did mention. My friend felt it was the one for him, so he did in fact buy it and now owns it. Period.

Don't get me wrong, I am not questioning you. I do believe that is exactly what they told you. But, they have not had this boat on their lot since last week.

That my friend, is what is going on.

This is good, I was planning on running up there to look at the boat.

Give the dealer a call and ask about the boat and see what they say: 317-781-5535, just call and tell them you saw it on the trader and wanted to get some details and see what they say.

He told me he was sitting in his office and could see the boat, I questioned him several times on if the boat was sitting on his lot or not.

Like I said I am only stating what the salesman told me.
Not sure what to do, never trust a salesman....

I shot the sales guy a pretty direct email, I am curious how he will reply.
US1 Fountain, don't get me wrong, I appreciate your comments and input. You have seen the boat and are a lot closer then I am. It is nice to have input from another set of eyes. I am only stating what the dealer is telling me.... I iwll let you know what the reply says.

Again, thanks for your input.

Well I got to the bottom of this. The boat is no longer there, he says the owner picked it up after hours. HMMMMMMM. Sounds fishy to me.
US1 Fountain, congradulate the new owner on his happy purchase.

Image that, yesterday he was just sitting in his office looking at the boat on their lot, but now it is gone that you pressed harder. Not to mention it had been gone for over 1 week.
BTW, the lot is gated and locked after hrs. Only way out is thru open unlocked gates.

My friend is like a kid in a candy store. Thanks

Ok Ok Ok, Sounds like I need to set things right.

I'm the new proud owner of this 91 Cafe' Carbon Fiber Cigarette. I don't know how I managed to keep my patience and wait for the owner to come around to my price but, this boat was actually agreed on a price last Tuesday 9-21-04, It hasn't been at Marine Center since that Monday. Money changed hands this Monday 9-27-04.

Tssteph, I'm sorry these guy's (Marine Center), put you through all this CHIT but, that's the very reason the owner pulled it out of there!

This is definitely one of the nicest Cafe's I've seen and I have a file folder the size of a phone book. I never would have believed that something like this would be right in my back yard and I'm still amazed and in shock by the whole deal.

This is not an old "Race Boat". I don't know why they would advertise it to be other than I guess they thought it would get more interest. The previous owner has but a lot of money in upgrades to the cockpit, cabin, dash and a brand new Myco trailer. As I look through the file he gave me I can't believe the money he spent for all of that plus rebuilding both engines with all the right stuff.

The only thing this boat needs is the engines and bilge painted and detailed and a good buffing. (It sat there for 1 1/2 years). Why no one found this before me, I have no idea but, I THANK GOD I DID!

I also want to thank US 1 (Jerry) for his candor and "survey" of this boat. Yes it needs a couple other details taken care of but, it's in much better shape than anything else I've seen and after all it is a 91.

PS: Must of been a good day, we were at 86 the last I seen!
