Does anyone know if there is room to add a pair of speakers to the inner liner on a 35 Cafe' right behind the Bolsters on both sides? Is there a space all along the sides between the hull and liner?
Thanks,
Bob
Thanks,
Bob

Bob, I put two Clarion 10" subs where the old speakers were down at the bottom of the bolsters. I also added two Babbs into the upholstered panel behind the seats, and two Clarion components in front of the seat. In this picture you can see the Babbs and components. In hindsight I would not have used the Babbs - I don't like their sound at all.

So did you just cut the hole and hope you didn't run into anything? Also, I plan on putting them down lower but, I'm not sure yet.

Hey Steve,
I've got another question for ya. Is that access panel for the holding tank? Do you know where the fresh water tank is? Is it on the other side?
I've got the Perelli (sp) floor so I don't know what's under it.
Sorry for all the questions but, this boat is all new to me and I'm going to be doing a lot of remodeling this winter. Sounds like you've been there done that.
Thanks Bob

Hey Mike,
So does that mean that the picture above is showing the access panel to the holding tank?
If you have pictures, that would be great!
I'll probably have a lot more questions as I get into this, so thanks for the help.

On my cafe, the holding tank is accessed by removing the slopeing footrest at the drivers side. The macerater and head water pump is under there too. Just remove the screws holding the footrest down and lift it out. What year is your cafe?

It's a 91.
Thanks for the info Dan. I was not aware that the pump and Macerater were there. That's definitely good to know.
Is the fresh water pump under the floor on the port side closet or is that for the A/C?
