Default Is the year of this Cafe right???

1986?? I didn't think the Cafe was introduced in '86. If that thing is almost 20 yrs old it is in KILLER shape!

Tank - 1986 was the first year of the Cafe. It looks like he did some refurbishing to the boat which is why it appears so clean. One consideration - which is not necessarily bad - are the TRS drives. You just have to ask yourself if you are willing to deal with a few more potential problems with those drives (versus a Bravo One). The benefit of having Bravos is that you will be able to upgrade both the motors and drives at a later date easily. Upgrading power with TRS drives will decrease reliability.

Thanks Jeffrey. I'm not really looking at this boat as a potential to buy, I don't want the older cabin....Gotta have that cooler for Havasu ....I just thought it was odd to see such a clean 86 and didn't know they actually made the cafe in 86, thought they started in 88.

Anyway, not to start a huge debate but I've heard about 50/50 on the whole TRS vs. Bravo subject. Some say the TRS in almost bullet proof w/more power compaired to the Bravo which is less reliable w/more power. So basically parts are accesable to the Bravo which is a good thing because they're going to break compaired to less failures with the TRS but when it does fail theres the whole parts issue w/TRS's...They don't make them anymore=hard to find parts. Ay Carumba!

Also takes more power to turn a TRS
