Bullet, battery and switch question
#11
i ussually pull my batts out for winter and keep it on a floating trickle charger that shuts off automaticly when full and turns back on if charge drops....
Most modern onboard chargers will do the same.....my buddy's 2002 powerquest 380 has been sitting here in the loading docks on shorepower for a full year now and batts are still good! He moved down to Fl and has no place to keep the boat at the moment and no time to come back up and get it......i'll be driving it down to him in Feb for the Miami show if everything falls in place on my end

And if so with the other battery continue to be charged while running?
I know this sounds pretty simple but just haven't heard the real answers yet.
Thanks in advance.

Also, your battery charger should work whether the battery's are off or on.

Like Craig, Havasu Hanging and InXs, when I run it's 1 and 1 both switches.
I have 300 hours with two different Cigarettes and have broken plenty of stuff but never a battery or an alternator.
