Make it so that you like it and make it so that without a doubt any one of the old school racers will recognize it for what it was / is. That way it still get the publicity it deserves and you get the recognision that is deserved as well as a good opportunity to meet some good people with lots of knowledge. Cool boat, keep it that way.

I've done a few upgrades on my Magnum....
A mahogany inlay, taller lifeline, Danforth Hi-Speed compass, horns, teak step pads....cleats.
The boat was "shaved" by a previous owner. I thought it looked nice but prefer the more original look.
