Mills also told me he worked on the design of the outboard 38s with Larry. Is there any difference between these and the other 38s ? Perhaps the mills 38 is the first with the new deck?

Bobby Moore bought a 38 in 1984 from Larry maybe that's the boat this gut is talking about, there is only a record of Mills buying one 38 and one 43

A gentleman by the name of Lars Strom assures me he is 100% sure the 38 Evolution boat was bought by Patrick Rinne and shipped to Sweden in 1988 where it was severely damaged in this race by having a 55 gallon fuel drum break loose that was strapped inside it and he never heard of the boat again. Mine is a 1989 and Mills says it was never raced or resold as an outboard. he says he still owned it and had it converted prior to selling it. Hopefully you can get to the bottom of it. It'd be a shame to lose the history on it. Maybe Warren knows? I talked with him a couple years ago but he was unable to get the build records at that time. Thanks again

Just found some more paperwork in the file cabinet Mickey did have 2 38s built one in 88 under his name and a lightweight Kevlar boat in 89 that he bought under the Evolution marine name that's your boat sorry about the confusion my bad all this paperwork is hand written and not the easiest to read.
