Besides the different years,San Benedetto came after Caliente(1987-1984/5),the cockpit area is different.

Marco - I have had little opportunity to read and respond due to my computer having been destroyed by a recent electrical storm so my only access is whilst at work! I will try and contact Davey Wilson and ask about that boat! Keep the pics coming!

That boat Caliente was raced in the USA ONE time in Marathon, Fl. It was shot racing against Reggie Fountain when they were making a movie about offshore called Blue Lightning. The movie never came out.

It was builded in 1987 for Walter Ragazzi that just had a fleet of real Apache 41' mono and cat.
That boat I think it's somewhere in North Italy....Como area.

Here the same boat in 1988's version for Silvio Mursia.

Heavy Metal, the last CUV became , Gifford, Then Bandit, Now owned by a Guy near Atlantic City.
