That would be nice to see those infos...I´m in the process of building a stack fuel injected similar engine with Victor Jr heads and a 260 050 and 0.625 roller...comp will be in the neighbourhood on 13.1 static and cranking as much I can get by with.
Put two of those kind into Runaway...how does that ring?

She spent allot of years as a junker at Gifford Marine, in south Jersey. She was brought
back to life and her first race was 1990, her last race was 1999. She started racing in
Production "A" class with about 400hp per side, running 66-69mph. She finished racing
in Sport "B" class with about 670 per side, running 102mph. When she finished Sport
"B" was not really a sportsman class. We raced against 38-40ft boats, with canopies, full
race staggered engines, SSM 5 & 6 drives. Many of these "B" boats, Banker, Jawana,
Dragon Lady & Instigator, went on to run very successfully in super V. It was tons of
fun, great people, incredibly expensive, but no regrets.

My only regret, is that I was an idiot for selling her, and I can not blame anyone but myself for that one.

I dug out some of my old notes. Compression ratio 14.4. Cranking pressure 265psi, my guess would have been a little under 250, seems a little higher than I remember, but thats what my hand written note said.

Ran well on Sunoco 112, but ran much better on Torco C-12+. The guys at the fuel depot, made us a custom blend close to C-12, but better. The first time we ran the high compression motors in a race using the Torco custom blend, the boat ran like a rocket. We never went back to Sunoco, ran Torco, (plus Sunoco that we were required to purchase at site) last 3 seasons of racing.

Several have asked for some engine pictures. Here is a video tour from 1997 (camera work not to good). Engines about 1 minute in and again towards the end. Here is the link for my web site video page http://dkorinc.homestead.com/vidgal.html

I just cam across the cam card. I just do not remember if the was the last one in the boat, or 1 or 2 before.
