Default 56" Apachi

This was a great day back then , took 1st place in a 7 mile race on Webster Lake in Ma . We were driving real boats and running the r/c boat along side . 15 big boats 15 R/C boats, Boat wakes and numerous obstacles ,I was one of the only ones to finish cause I preset the tabs down .You can see the tabs position in the photo. Went slow in calm water but kicked ass in two ft waves when everybody else were upside down flipped

From Chip to Charley,

Hi Charlie ,Just thought you and Micheal would like this. A .friend of
mine passed away and left this hull to me in his will. He was a
machinist by trade and a avid offshore boat enthusiast .He was even the
navigator on Tim Shean's BUSH boat at one point, So I thought it would
be a good thing to do a tribute boat in Dons memory . Renegade made the
hull in 1979 and it's been laying around since and their out of business
now. Renegade said they modeled it after the AJack Hawk hull Cigarette.
It is 72 inches long and has another 7 inches of outdrives . It ran 87
mph on gps and has more to give with more testing .Hope all's well with
you guys, Chip

Oh My, wonder if anybody tried to film this with a video camera back in the day. What spectacular races there must have been.
