The 1st pic. yellow boat was Al Giordano's 28 Bertram Baron.
Thanks for the picture! He was a friend of mine & a pioneer in the sport of offshore racing. He lived in Jersey & unfortunately passed away about 2 years ago. |

thats awesome, i wish somebody would have a class for 21 ft boats with a single smallblock or outboard.

Here is a 22' Velocity [OINGO BOINGO] :eek: that ran APBA A class in the Great Lakes in the late 80's, & early 90's. :drink:

I remember AJ Smith ran a 22 Velocity in Key West around 1994 in A-Class. He did pretty good for such a small boat. I think that year A-Class allowed a 30' Twin engine (RC Performance ?) that just barely beat The Hogs Breath Corsa for the win.
