back in the day
only 2 8 meters that I am aware of, Maverek and mine
they guy who owned maverek moved to traverse city and started building boats. In fact I saw one at the Duseldorf Boat Show. He had a bad accident with his old 8 meter on lake st clair and a person died.

Two early Outboard race boats that ran in Detroit in the 70's. BZ-II a 30' Maritime Hull with 3 Chrysler 150 racing engines, If race's were won on sound this outboard would win every time. The other boat was just known as FREDDY P-172 a 24' Super boat hull. Fred Hartman surprised many in P class with the speed of this boat.

Lee sent me some new CC pic's there were two metal flake Chris Crafts out of Lake St Clairs Blue Lagon, I thought there was, but it has been some time ago. Plus Baums white Maverick were all here on the lake. P-700 was CC Rider, P-800 was ORANGE JULIUS. Last year one was for sale here that was white, it might have been a repainted CC Rider ?????
