I remember seeing "Lil Rebel" in Lake George a week after the Benihanna and it had Plexiglass engine covers. As a kid, I thought this was so kool to see the engines! Does anyone have pics of the after-market engine hatches?

Jeff & I have the pic's of Bob's Maltese Magnum with the Plexiglass covers. Bob told me Magnum Marine used his Maltese Little Rebel for a few boat shows because of the clear hatches, we will post them when Jeff gets them scanned.

I grew up near Port Huron, and got hooked on these boats in the 70's. I'm loving all of the great pics, thanks so much for sharing & bringing back some great memories!

Just got back from looking through all of Bobby's pictures from back in the day, and WOW, what an absolute amazing historical offshore racing treasure!!!!.........except for the shoes.

Didn't see a pic with the cowboy hat but the one with Preston Henn flipping somebody off was pretty funny.

I was the driver and engine builder of the A911 Velocity. It was a 366ci small block. That boat was a hand full and yes AJ had big ones on the thottle and tabs. Those were great times.

I would like to get some old vintage style t-shirts, maybe from an old race. Anyone know where to get these?
