Just think what it could be.......A picture is worth 1000 words.....there is nothing like a strong V bottom 3 man set up.in the right conditions there just aint nothing like it...for me anyway....the thrill of the ride..another fine 17 ave. boat......

I was wondering the same thing.. It's pretty yucky in there. Looks almost like bige oil residue on the stuff! Or it may be mold.. :eek:

We have an old Donzi in our shop now that we are redoing. The deck is like that in the bow, a lot of the coring is rotted & had allowed everything to flex & delaminate inside.. We have to redo the deck on this thing now..

Regardless, the boat in the thread looks like it would still be a neat project if the time & money to do it right is going to be dedicated to it.. :) Jamie / Lakeside
