What power is in the boat now? Drives? I haven't seen Wild Turkey in 13 or 14 years, at least, but then again I haven't been boating on Barnegat Bay for at least 12 years.

Default Roger Mumm

Wish we could get Roger to tell us of the many stories he has tucked away in his head...that would be fun. Have heard some of them from him directly and they are all great. Also found 4 of the 9,31 ft Sprits he and Carlso Paez designed and built and was able to purchase # 3 built in 94which never has seen the water. Jeff Hayled out of Cold Water Mi. is doing some final rigging along with some work on the engines, and Roger might come up and work on them.I will post some pictures. Bud

I think he owns my old 27 sport today.

Was that the purple one from Chadwick? Chadwick Beach
Island had Jolly Roger, Wild turkey and Rated X all docked
there during the summers. I grew up listening for them to fire up.

Hello Rcsmith,

I had a 73 Purple Sport, but was not from Chadwick Beach Island, Was over in Brick and would run around the Bay with Roger( Red) and Rated X(Yellow) and Commotion(Blue) when Gary Roger's brother in law had it.
back in the mid 70s
Thank you
Jim
