My Moppie, staying alive somewhere in USA
#1
The first Bertram 31'built and drove by the same Richard Bertram from 1967 to 1969, it was also his last competition boat.
The color photo that I have found in the forum on the Bertram clearly shows a 31' anchored in an american marina today, that the old My Moppie seems to be.

Any of you guys recognize this hull ? Looks like a big Magnum ? Took this picture in Brighton England back in 1986 .
There were other offshore type boats in the marina at the time , but this was just huge compared to the others .

I imagined that someone would have replied sustaining that the first Bertram 31' it was not the My Moppie but the Moppie that the same Dick Bertram with sam Griffith and Carlton Mitchell brought to the victorious debut in her Miami-Nassau of seven years before.
Moppie however in reality it was long exactly 9,14 mt equal to 30.'
