It's possible Sonic copied it.....but to copy the dash too?.....maybe?.....I'm not sure?

If it's a Spitfire it would make a cool resto project.......I think they had an 8 foot beam so big blocks would fit ok.....but a couple of hot small blocks would probably work better?

I havnt put a tape on it yet but I would say it is an 8' beam boat because the BBC's are in it now & they are not any tighter between them than any other average offshore outhere.

I agree it would make a really cool resto.... However I do not have the time to put into it & my plan would be to pull the motors & sell everything else as a project package.. Any interest in it ??

There was a guy just trying to sell a Spitfire project and he could barely get $5K for it.....old boats just aren't worth anything.....even cool rare ones.......

$ 4,800 would buy this boat ( minus motors )

Take a look at the ad I put in the Boat Swap section earlier today...

So....after a little research......the first Sonic that was built from the Donzi 24 molds in 1978 was a twin 454 with Stern Powr drives.....

So......that may be the 1st Sonic 24.
