Thats a punch in the face ,for the sport.
Not quite a punch in the face. The boats are all damaged from previous races this year. You should try and phrase things a little better.

Let Haggin, Scotty or Marc air it out if that is the case. Since they havent, then rest assure that one boat will be ready, I hope. One day is plenty of time for Haggins Amex Black Card to do wonders.

We did serious structural damage to the Platinum in Ft Lauderdale, no biggy, we have 2 more boats. We were going to wait until we got home from Ocean City to derig and send out. In testing on Thursday in Ocean City we blew the nose off the Mystic. No biggy we will send the Mystic to Guardado marine to be fixed wich is where it is at now. In Ocean City we ran an engine dry on oil. No biggy, we have spare engines. We pull the starboard engine 2 days ago to find the bottom of the boat flexed up and crush the fitting on the oil line. Upon fiurther inspection , we have serious damage to the coreing on the bottom of the MTI. Guardado is the only place we will trust to do our glass work and the boats will not be done on time. We are extremely dissappointed in this seeing as we were looking foward to this event for a long time.
I myself, and the team have been working to bring this event into fruition. We will be in the pits with one of our boats on display, Nascar hauler etc. We will be using our safety boat to help with Fridays race as well as Sundays race.

Scotty, this is the second derogotory comment made by you about our team, watch it!

I am sorry to here that your not going to make it .
But first of all ,i did not mean to piss of enybody !
If it sounded like that i am sorry and i do mean that !!!
Like i said if it sounded like that ,it may be because i dont know how to explain things with the right words.
What i ment was it is sad for the sport that the Geico team is not able to run !
Because allot of people where hopping for a new record and that is why some are going down there to watch.
Like i said Scott, i am sorry if it did not sound right.

Scotty,

I am truly sorry to hear about your boats. They take a heck of a beating at the speeds you and Marc run! I can put in a couple more bolsters in my boat if need be bro. Just give me the word and I'll hustle. Wish I could do more.

Look for Stan Ware in Popeye's Cat Lite to run to Bimini.
