Weren't Doug Janish and Bill Sirois partners in an engine building company in the 1970's named Black Widow?

I knew I remembered that correctly. They built my dad's modified motors in 1976 for his 28' Maltese Magnum. Fast!

There was a story about them checking out the Stadium races then showing up with a black Widow powered boat with an outdrive killed the field with Bill driving. Dougs motors were real good.

An old 30' is/was sitting behind a car dealership in Brick NJ, don't know if it is/was for sale.
Do you mean "Big Red Machine"? It was a mid 70s 30' Corsa that was featured in the old Corsa ads. I've heard some pretty wild stories about that race team.

Rich,
You're right. The boat was "Big Red Machine" , the green boat I was thinking of was the "Adjuster".

I found the ad, I'm sure it has been posted on here before.

If anyone knows anything about Big Red Machine let's hear it.
