A guy named Paul Haggerty was involved with Corsa and did the design Later He had a company called PH factor custom boats.Now that could be the "Sprint deck" on the boat in the picture Also Cocktails had a Sprint Deck there were a couple real fast Corsas racing out of his shop near 58th street in Miami Cocktails was One Doug Janish did the motors and it was a National champion in M class.

There was a story about them checking out the Stadium races then showing up with a black Widow powered boat with an outdrive killed the field with Bill driving. Dougs motors were real good.

I was across from your area the first week of September, stayed with some friends at the Millenium Condos near Club Nautico SJ, also was in Farjardo for a few days and then over in Cabo Rojo for a week. I ve have seen many of races on the Island a few years back .

There use to be several on the race circut back in the early 1980's. One of the more successful boats was "Tight Rope". I think they were reffered to as a 30' . Other race boats were "Boogie Bear" and "Big Green Machine". They were great rough water boats. There were a few 40' Corsa raceboats, "Copper Kettle" and "Challange". Don't know anything else about their history.
An old 30' is/was sitting behind a car dealership in Brick NJ, don't know if it is/was for sale.
