Nope, It was the 1979 raceboat that ended up in Europe that I raced there in 1980.
The pics you show are of the 1980 US raceboat.
Actually in 1980 I raced 2 boats one overseas and the one you show here in the US.
That pic is from the Detroit national race right?
Ahhh those were the days that the boat biz used to be fun!!!

Did you get an Email I sent you a couple of weeks ago about compiling as much race footage as you may have on Pantera boats to pass on to my grandson to show him that his grandpop was a "playa" back then!!!

Will you have your reunion again this year @ the Mathes place?
I would really like to go and check the "classics" for old times sake. You guys used to be IT back in the 70's.
I met some real celebrities there, and that is not counting Mr. Baum aka Maverick S-7 that was some boat!
I remember Jack jr taking me out on the lake @ 80+ mph's
Some ride!
Probably the most impressive man I ever met in my life was Mr. Mathes Sr. I was nervous discussing a boat dealership w/ him in 1976. He was my first dealer, and Bill Dedes was the first Pantera customer on the Lake.
