Honestly....seeing that the transom has been sealed and glassed....maybe it's been used as a plug ?

As I said several times it is a milestone in the history of the Cigarette and the Offshore racing sport.
Someone leaves destroy a Ferrari 312T F1 World Champion in the seventies?
Well that 36' so stupidly abandoned is like a Ferrari F1.
Drove by Balestrieri, De Angelis and Della Valle that Cigarette 36' hull # 01 is the record holder by victories for a offshore boat.
This record of 14 races wins in eleven years of racing it holds with the third Bonomi's Dry Martini of 1973 36' and that is now on sale in England.

Marco , I am working on it , I may know the perfect guy!!!!!!!!

If only I had some storage space... uhhh

Apologies if such description sounded offensive, it wasn't meant to diminish its historical value of course...

Understood the sense mapism, but often the fiberglass boats are considered by some purists of wood, soulless boats just because that arise from a mold as a series of clones.
In reality, then each of these boats create a history neither more nor less how all the other boats, sailing.

Hey guys where is a good place to buy powertools around Milan or Lugano and what do you recommend for Electric orbital sanders and rechargeable drills.
Does Ryobi exist over there in 22o volt ?

I have some handyman work and refinishing i need to do for my fatherlaws lake house.

MF I am skilled labor and will have some time on my hands .How far are you on your project ?

I hate to see your 36 never be completed also.

The 36 is my absolute favorite Offshore boat . I have fond memories of riding along side BAM as it left Saugetuck Michigan into the Sunset to Chicago and than the following winter in 85 walking down the street in Ft Lauderdale late one night and hearing some beatiful engines idiling up the canal and once again it was BAM.

.

Yep. In Milan there are some specialised resellers if you're looking for something very specific, but you can find most common tools also at large wholesalers like Leroy Merlin, for instance.
Just be prepared to prices generally higher than in the US - don't ask me why!
