Here are the mockup engine vents to replace the original. They are contoured to follow the curve of the deck. The originals were to boxy and didn't fit the lines of the boat. I had the frames water jetted out of stainless and will fit perforated stainless material inside them.

water jetting parts is that part of your work? or did you find a place to do it, cause I could use some brackets for my power steering /alt set up. we did some mods but, I would like to make to brackets to put my steering on other side of motor. and make a better bracket for alt.we did a new gas tank in the saber I bought 2 yrs ago and now that were testing ,I might need to put one up in the cockpit for weight. we maybe azz heavy.. thanks Art

The original 292 engines are going to be used. They only had 170 original hours but have been completly redone. They should be close 275 to 300 hp with the mods that have been done. Not real big numbers but a big improvement above the original 200 hp stock.

wow thats great.

I'm shooting for a mix of the classic chris craft / garwood runabout with sleek mordern styling]

Here is the windshield that I remember on the 28' Bertram.

any thoughts on a race fairing like the 38s small.

Art, I had the parts water jetted at a place in Ellsworth, ME. They did a great job and were very reasonable. I paid $115 for the four vents which also included the material and shipping to my house. If your interested I can find the phone number. To bad about your drives. I think I'll be putting to Baron back in the garage so I can finish the interior and paint the bottom. This time I'll have to enclose the entire bow to protect the new paint. My next garage will be 36' deep. Temps are getting too cold to work on it. They are talking about getting some light snow here tonight.
