Got some interesting news today. Rich seems to think I may have the first pleasure cat built. HIN = KRG30001M81A.
Spent the day grinding away, prepping for the balsa that should be here Wednesday. Updates to follow. |
Congrats on the supplies! Keep rocking. She's gonna be purty some day. Have you decided pleasure or poker/race set up yet?

Before any updates... I have to give much thanks to Dave (glassdave) and Rich (T2X) for their time they have spent helping guide me in the direction I needed to go.
There wasn't many updates lately. Yesterday I glassed a few different variations of glass wood combos to figure out how I am going to build my knees. Today I was hoping to get my balsa so I could start coring my transom but it never came. I got in touch with the delivery company and was told it would be here Monday or Tuesday. I couldn't let another perfect weekend go by without getting the transom in so I made an arrangement to pick it up. An hour and a half later I had my first 25 sheets of balsa coring in the truck. I can't wait to start glassing but am not looking forward to the grinding necessary to get to that point. I'll update as the days go by. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...vember24th.jpg |
Will you use vacuum laminating for connecting the balsa ?
