Thanks. The wrx is finally done (what a blast) so I can concentrate on the boat again. Once the weather starts hitting the 50's glassing will commence.

3/10/12

Finally an update worth writing about. Had a friend come by today (yesterday) to give me a hand tearing into the lowers. This was made especially hard due to the fact that they welded the bearing carriers to the case due to the known problems with the Evinrude lowers on the 300's. Have some cleaning up to do and need 2 new carriers but the gears look great. Hoping to clean up and remove the other nose cone today to get everything prepped for reinstall.

Pictures all taken with Iphone 4S

Just curious as to the year that JK started using the Chris Cat splash for his cat? Would the actual beam width be the factor? I know the person that claims to have knowledge of the Chris Cat that was used for this--------hmmm process.

I don't know of any 8' beam width Awesome 31 cats. Are there any?
