Gator,
Looks great, nice to see you saved her. Sorry to hear the engine went before Silver Glenn!
I just pulled the engine in my 230 going to do interior and engine compartment while waiting on machine work.
Keep up the good work!
Jody

Finally got some good weather to pull the dead motor out. My buddy brought over his work truck with a crane on it and 10 minutes later it was in the back of the truck headed to the shop.
Now I can get the engine compartment cleaned and painted. I'd like to get the new motor in next weekend. Still waiting on a few parts to show up.

I doubt it...what you have isn't a Double Pumper but a recent model Holley with vacuum secondaries.

Sprink now you have me wondering. Is there a number plate I can look for to find out what it is I'm using? I really want to know what all the components I'm using are.

Look on the front of the air horn...at the very front at the top. The Holley Part Number or as they call it "List Number" will be stamped in to the air horn.

This is a 750 Double Pumper. Look closely in the upper right hand corner of the air horn and you can see the number. This carburetor looks like the ones built in the '70's...they haven't changed much over the years.

Gator...go to this link https://www.holley.com/types/Street%...raditional.asp

This list all of the original traditional Holley's. From the pic of your engine assuming it is a 750 CFM, I think it may be this one

https://www.holley.com/0-9015-1.asp

and have a side hung float bowl assembly. Note: if the carburetor doesn't have "J" vent tube as opposed to straight ones then it's not a Marine version but is Automotive. Automotive versions have straight or angle cut vent tubes.

Here is a link to Holley's Marine Carb selection.

https://www.holley.com/types/Marine%...erformance.asp

I agree with you...it's always good to know exactly what you have.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I'll look at mine harder tomorrow. It definately is a marine app. with the "J" vent tubes. I'll post a pic without the flame arrestor on it tomorrow. Thanks again, Gator

Motors out and it's time to tighten up the engine compartment. It's not that bad but while I can access everywhere I'm going to clean and paint it. Also new blower hoses, bilge pump and hose will be added...
