I just stole that pic for facebook hahaha. I finally ran my boat yesterday. Ran for 3hrs and snapped my 3rd water pump belt as I was idling in. It never ends. Happy 4th Gater, hope she's running soon!

Here's a couple more motor pics. Exhaust gaskets should be here tomorrow. Plan on running her in the shop on Saturday. I'll try and post a video if I can figure out how. Getting amped to hear her run.

Gator, is the a 502? (Too lazy to go back and read) what are you expecting hp/speed wise? Looks great!

I don't know maybe 350 hp and 50+ mph if I'm lucky...

Hope it runs mid 50's! I know my baja will run right at 60 with my 330hp 454. So I bet with your slightly bigger hull and a few more hp, you can hang mid 50's. Granted I have either a bad gimbal bearing or u-joints so I'm not going anywhere...

I got the motor running today. Still have some tweaking to do. Jets are to big and other minor stuff. I couldn't mail the video for some reason. I did post one up on FB. John Sixpack OConnor if you want to hear it run. Check out my FB page.
