Machloosy, Thanks for words of encouragement, I'm trying to get her back to her glory days condition. Can't seem to catch a break and get time to enjoy her. Maybe after the new motor goes in...

Gator I'm with you. I've been chasing problem after problem in my 235 w/bbc. Finally about given up and sending it too a buddies shop to see if he can test some things better than I can. Whole ignition system is basically new and still won't fire. PO gave me some major BS when I bought it, and I took it hook, line, and sinker. Never buy a boat that hasn't been de-winterized and run.

Finally have the motor complete and buttoned up. I'll install the circulating pump, exhaust manifolds and oil cooler on Monday. We're going to try and start it up in the shop during the week. Can't wait to get it in the boat. I also have the engine compartment all painted except for where we'll have to stand to install the motor. I hope thats the light at the end of the tunnel I see ... Today is my birthday and I fear no beer, I hear them calling me out...

Looks great man. Keep at it and she'll be up in no time!. I had a frustrating maiden voyage Saturday with mine so she's back in the yard with the interior torn apart so I can reach the engine.
Happy late birthday by the way!! 26 right?

Thank you for the B-Day wishes. Today I managed to get the rest of the pulleys, the water pump, remote oil adapter are all on. I can't find the exhaust gaskets anywhere or he exhaust would be on too.
