Just acquired a 1961(?) Biesemeyer 18' 4 Point Hydro. My Uncle bought two hulls somewhere around 1961 and sold one. The one he kept he built up with a Ford 430. I have pictures if you would be kind enough to fill me in on anything you know. I'm not convinced it's a 1961. It may have been initially registered in 1961. I'm not sure where to look to confirm the build date?

To fill you in on what I know and don't know would take days. As for years, who knows. They didn't keep good records and the company is gone now. My boats transom is just slightly different with a lip around the motor box but besides that ...... Pretty sure the few made were all built around 1959.

Here is some videos. Do you have the boat yet?

Curious as to where you found that picture of my boat? It's a picture I didn't have. I don't have the boat yet. My Uncle passed away and the title is in his name only. My aunt is getting it put into her name so she can sign it over. I'm waiting patiently or at least trying. He pulled the engine from a 1959 Lincoln (as the story goes). I'm very anxious to see if it's a 430 Marauder or Super Marauder. I haven't seen it personally in many years. It has always been garaged and hasn't been used in over 20 years. I actually learned how to water ski behind it at the age of about 6(?). What I remember most is going so damn fast I wanted out of the boat.

No, I'm not Jim. My name is Dean. I think Jim is a friend of the family that was helping them. I'll have to search craigslist. Must be multiple postings. The one I've seen didn't have that picture.

I also got some pictures from Jim to. I have questions about the boat a couple pictures would answer but I never got the right ones. Like what is sticking out the drain holes? And what prop is on the boat?

Yours is also a little different then mine (just minor things) but I wonder why for such a short run??

It may be a part of the trailer he puts into the drain holes. Not sure. I don't have a better picture either. When I get it, I'll provide you with whatever pictures you'd like to see. It looks like parts are going to be hard to come by. No lights, the Biesemeyer insignia is missing.... etc... I did see the insignia on ebay.. 2 for $225 but I don't want to buy it until the boat is in my name. Love your paint job by the way!

WE used to call those duck bills they are to auto drain water from the bilge while underway. I used to have them in my jet boat.

I see three chrome pieces on your boat. One is the light in the center. What are the other two? One is next to the left exhaust and the other is above and to the right of the exhaust.
