So which iconic American muscle-boat is the foreign exotic
I would say its more like comparing a 67 Shelby GT 500 to a L88 427 Vette

pretty much.... I just added AC to my Mistres, I see why it rides so damn good.... there is more resin on both sides of the wood then any other boat I ever saw, and it SUCKS to add AC to one lol

just counted .... 12-7 to the Scarab looks like a convincing win
will throw away my survey on the cig then.
I think Im going to throw away my plan of getting a new boat to difficult to choose

Vette belongs to the sportscar category and L88's and such to Supercar category... Mustangs are just Pony Cars like Camaros and E-Body Mopars with rearseats....

Actually many powerboaters commutes with [foreign] exotica...these boats are that exotic.
And regarding a GT500 vs a L88 that's a no contest as a L88 would put serious hurt on an AC Cobra 427 S/C even...and did.. still holding the speed record @ LeMans in the GT class...not even a GT40 could touch one on pure straight line speed.

Kv, there was one in my marina years ago, miami vice Edition repainted white by some german owner....repowered with 502 mag. Timeless Classic.
I should have some pics somewhere...
