Jim how true. Navigation was the equalizer you didn't always have to have the fastest boat to win a race. I like to see how a 150mph cat would navigate 120 mile race without GPS.

This one of my most favorite pic's, my old Mag when it was Sam's Come Again racing the Mirage La Salle. This is how close they were running after one 30 mile lap in a 90 mile race. I shot this pic around 1977.

Yes it is, back in the day Pete Smith [WOLVERINE] hosted the race @ the Windsor Yacth Club.
