Worked for Dan Humes on PEPPERS for a few years. It was a Clym's Gem. Mike Bennet (r.i.p.) who owned Shipwreck Marine on the Salt River did all the motor work/setup and Bob Kaiser showed us how to drive it :):).......... My good friend Bob Stack (r.i.p.) was the driver in later years when it gained EXIDE Sponsorship.
On a side note another friend now that has a high end auto repair facility near me was the driver for Desperado out of Ohio. I'll try to get some pics, Bill |
John it was Billy Mains now the GM of Motorwerks, not sure what years he was with Jim? His Dad was Gill Mains who played for the Detroit Lions when they were good :):):) Bill Jolley
