Default My new Nova Marine 24' project

I am an old school offshore girl, grew up on Lake St Clair. Always my daddies wrench rat climbing into the hull looking for dropped parts and wrenches and learning all kinds of 4 letter words and loving every minute of it. My first vehicle when I was 14 was a 1977 Nova 210 XL that I paid for with my babysitting money. My daughers are now 7 & 8 and I wanted to do a project with them, I just bought a 1969 24' Nova Marine with all the original everything. My question is, I love impact colors. We are all ready for the boat arriving in two days its going to get stripped down and all the chrome sent out, interior re-done and a complete go over the hull an paint job so we can have this old girl ready for May. Engines are fresh and ready to drop in.
My question is what colors did this hull come in. Does anyone have any pics or brochures so I can finish it off correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated, right now the girls want to paint it hot pink.

Does it look like this? I believe this is one of Brownies built Nova's that raced back in the day on Lake St Clair?

I do, thank you, but there is not much on the colors or interior of the 24' nova. They are more into the 19' supernova than the 24'.

I'd never seen one leave the factory in any other colors than white & gold. Gold rubrail and gold cushions in the cabin. I didn't see them all, but I saw a lot

I'm in the middle of painting mine right now with Alexseal, actually.
Here's their color chart.....http://www.alexseal.com/en/exteriorcolor.php
Definitely go with something that Pops. ( And I'm usually into very plain).
Even if its all white, IMHO-have a bright/contrast boot stripe or bottom.

I was going to go traditional "Bluetone" ( till I realized it just doesnt seem right on an older hull).....especially with the direction I'm going.

I cant help you too much on the interior.....(My preference would be simple/white).
Mine is now a center console, so all white inside w/ non-skid is my plan.
Good Luck-
