Made what I hope is the last of the part runs to HBW today, new sea water pumps, and hope to take the boat to Al's in the next day or so for the insertion of the spanky new power. This weather has been the chits and makes it hard. The water at HBW was only a few inches below the Boathouse dock today, still very high for this time of year and lots of tales of dead heads and assorted chit floating down the river, not prime running time by any measure. I'm fine, they will get back in in their own time and then I hope we get some good weather to enjoy it.
Love the pics, those new Mercs are fine looking!

Good Pete sounds like you are on your way back to running soon. I am thrashing to get rigging done as well. I hate rushing this time of year. I always did my rerigs over the winter and took my time. Oh well motors didn't show up for that. Tell Sam we said hello and we'll see you soon. God bless...

When it all comes together for both of us we need to do a weekend of river rippin', these two boats running side by side do make a statement.

Little update for you Cary, as of noon today bullet number one was on the hook and headed into the boat. Al likes to work alone, I left! Came home and mowed the lawn.
How you doing?
Monday update Cary, bullet number two loaded in today. Had to drop off a part for him this morning just as he was starting on number two. Here you go, and I'm outta here. It's that work by himself thing.

Peter, I want to thank you for all your input and help on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed the time we got to spend testing with your propellers... You are a great friend and a wealth of knowledge. I really appreciate it and will cherish the fun memories and the information that I needed. Talk soon. Can't wait to see you ripping it up in your rig.

Sorry Gary no running shots yet. Over the hub props couldn't get on plane for nothing....Tachs read 7000.. they tell me that you are sending pulses to Tachs for a 6 cyl. So I have to reset dip switch on Tachs. Gorgeous weekend with the big Poker run up here last weekend. Figured first time out sucked. But a good friend to me brought his wheels and we had a blast testing but too much slip and didn't know about tach situation till this week. But Chad Hill is awesome and sending me different props to try plus making me new ones that should work with the VIDEO well. Turns out the bigger gear case and exhaust from the motors are part of the reason planing is so bad
