I believe that Todd, "Mid-Ocean", has Armed and Dangerous for sale. It was near Charlotte, NC. There were several current condition photos posted by him, it looked very restorable.

A friend of mine said he saw it on the race coarse and it was awesome.

I believe Mid Ocean has sold it & it's now out of the country.

We raced against it with our Eastern Express Skater in C class, that Mirage rocked in big water.

My 36 best I've seen 69mph on gps with 502's and speedmaster 3's

Was Byng Goode Midnight Express better than the Cortes Mirage ? Ironically I think Pedro Medina at one time or another worked at both boat builders.
