No problems at all. Few friends are running dry exhaust.

Has anyone given thought to have some kind of fun run with all of the old school boats. Maybe just a loop around the lake or run to second place.

I started Old School 10 years ago & if something is working & it is why fix it ???? There are plenty of fun runs & poker runs on Lake St Clair to take your boat out on. My thought If it's not broke why fix it !!!

The reason why is if you're not growing you're dying. Nobody wants to see the old classics die. A classic powerboat fun run sounds like a fun thing to do.

If it was still there, a run down to BoBLo Island would be fun ? Or what about "The Roostertail Restaurant ".

One thing about old school there is no rules, it's just a meet & greet if you want to run downriver GO! With as many of the boats that come even when it's raining OLD SCHOOL is not Dying !!!!

Nobody is stopping you from driving your boat around.
Maybe I'll go on a fun run over to Red Crain's or how about that nice fella with the Apache on the island. Or maybe I won't. The only thing I'll be planning is doing whatever I want when ever I want. No need to make any plans. Maybe I'll idle my boat over to Dave's dock and drink his Milwaukee's Best Light, maybe I won't.
That's the best part about the weekend, it's a surprise.

I dont know why you are so defensive over a simple comment. I did not say that "you should". Or anything that should be changed about the event. Just throwing out a idea. I think i was one of 5 boats that showed up last year. So I like the event and happy if nothing changes.
Also I help out other boaters that need help tying up or loan out my extra bumpers and ropes to anyone that needs them.
