Five boats? Must have been a different event, I saw at least seven.
How about a fun run on the St Clair river the following weekend? You can make laps. Mr Bill will wave from his dock. You might need a helmet a life jacket and an OPA membership though.
The fun run was tried before with one of the local clubs. H20, how did that work out?

I dont know why you are so defensive over a simple comment. I did not say that "you should". Or anything that should be changed about the event. Just throwing out a idea. I think i was one of 5 boats that showed up last year. So I like the event and happy if nothing changes.
Also I help out other boaters that need help tying up or loan out my extra bumpers and ropes to anyone that needs them.

I love the event and have attended every year. I enjoy seeing old friends and meeting new ones with the same love of old boats. I'd love to make a run to another place on the lake so count me in......on doing what I want

we are hoping to go this year, but the date never works out for us. i'm buddy lives a mile from brownies. with boyne thunder the 13th - 14th & rock the coast 7/21 & 22. i'd love to see it on the first weekend. my drag the resin bucket over with us.
