Default 24 x 7 Strake Modification ...

Anyone able to advise lengthening inner strakes on 24 x 7 Excaliber BBC with TRS. I saw a post on OSO stating extend to 6" rearward of CG, but no advice on how to correctly determine CG based on ballast for passengers and fuel. Note: keel pad is filled to match Superboat early splash of this hull. Bow carries better, but still needs more stern lift. Prop is labbed, reduced diameter Bravo1 14.75 x 24. Thanks in advance from those that have done with success !!!

google your title, then add offshoreonly at the end.
there is alot of info, problem is i think when a member does not resubscribe (depending on how the pics were posted) those pics are gone forever.
the tomas wallin 24x7 modifying strakes bottom thread comes to mind.

Thank you for your reply. Tried to reach out to Tomas Wallin on OSO when I was at this awhile back. Never heard back. No luck Googling.

I though thomas ended up removing the strake extentions.

Doesn't the Hydromotive four blade provide more stern lift than the Bravo?

Professor, Thank you for the pics. Do you have an estimate of how far you extended the inner strakes? Thanks in advance.
