Hijack away. I don't get my panties in bunch like some other people. I love all of the information. Hope I can find out which/what/ who's boat that I have or any other history on it. Any idea how many they made in '72. I can't imagine it was more than 30- 50 boats.

I can't answer any of your questions, but like you, I have an "old skool" Cigarette, mine 1982 35' it's 36 yrs old, but really better than new! . Your 36' is 46 yrs. old and soon to be like new ...to me, it's like owning something that has an ageless design. You'd never know my boat is that age by looking at it, not because it has new paint or interior, but because the design (to me) is ageless......I know it takes deep pockets to have her in a restored condition, but enjoy the ride through it all, "They don't make these iconic hulls anymore!"....just my thoughts!
