Default 80's color schemes

I just have to get a kick out of the 80's. Someone tell me why teal and pink was such a popular thing back then. Humor me as I was born In 85. 🤣

Not saying it's bad I just get a chuckle out of how often I see the combo and I know there are others. Feel free to share em.

You can thank Miami Vice for such a cool color combo of the 80s and 90s. - My old 1990 Larson Senza Spectre.

I would say this is specifically why pink and teal were big in the 80's.

I love(not) the bowling alley images too. You know, like the formulas had, circle, triangle, square. We looked past a few of those more than once. Good boats, but we couldn't get past the dated design. (Sorry if someone on here has that).

Wasn't just Formula... lots of brands, including Cigarette, had graphics like that too.

Miami Vice for the win (depending on how you look at it). It all started there (really via MTV).

1988 marked the first year of "Palm Beach Imron" for Formula and the color combination pretty much stuck around (in variations) through the early 90's.
