I would venture to say a lot of the 80's paintjobs aged better than the early 90's ones. That being said, in 1991, when you saw a Cafe Racer with pink and blue triangles and circles it was the coolest thing you ever saw.

And agree with the other comment. Early 90's definitely not as cool as the 80's.

The formula palm beach imron setup is actually really slick as well.

1988 marked the first year of "Palm Beach Imron" for Formula and the color combination pretty much stuck around (in variations) through the early 90's.

For a lot of us it was those 80's paint and graphics that caught our attention on these boats. It was just another part of what drew us to the boating world.

i like the 80s 90s graphics much better than the kid scribble of todays paint lack of talent i guess? the first JBS racing was cool ii also love the colors on the Out of Control skater

the reason for the crazy colors and wild graphics was because the '80's were all about excess. men were men and carried big hand guns, women were women and wore tight dress, parties were out of control and you could say what you meant with out getting sued for sexual harassment. every thing was done over the top because you could and because this is America damnit.
