CPBA Xmas party!
 

Well boys I have been working on getting together an Xmas party for the CPBA.

Havenmt gotten to far yet with it but getting some prices etc.

Trying to do early Dec. Harbor park, black duck, back porch, black bear in NH are some of the possibilities.

Anyone have any other possibilities let me know.

Gonna be a small cover most likely its just a good way for the CPBA guys to meet up and hang out. Maybe bring in some new ( like minded) members at the same time.

I wasnt gonna bring it up until I had more info but KREED opened his mouth and let the cat out of the bag.:eek:

I have lots of family parties on the horizono but i will most def make time for this...keep us posted jeff

should be a good time. I need to get more info from the old HP. We need to stay centrally located I think anyone have any other Ideas in case the old HP doesnt work out?

murphy scarlettis isnt bad and its centrally located...HP would be cool though.

I have had allot of parties at murphs through the years too so weve got that down.

Gotta find availablity in DEc though. Most places dont even return calls.

I wish the black duck were closer to EVERYONE we'd be done right now.

December is full of Holiday party BS. January I will be snowmobiling most of the time. As some fo you know, the Black Duck is built on a barge. Maybe I can get it water ready and pull it up to a more central location LOL!

We could also do Rookies in Middletown. Not a bad bar. Pretty centrally located. My vote would still be a party in January. December is too crazy with shopping and x mas parties, etc...

Rookies is in Cromwell bud....and not a bad idea. Why not do both months. Why not do ever month!? We just need some casual gatherings so people can get together and introduce themselves. I am always down for a good time

Well, if it is not this weekend then we really only have 2more weekends in Dec.....that leaves the 11th and 18th.

18th is not even an option for me.

The 11th is when I was originally thinking.

We could also do a thursday too

Got pricing from HP $500 for the night to have the party there

So lets see were going to pay $500 to make it the place to be for boaters next year?

they directed me to this menu...its a buffet style. for $15 per person it looks like we can get solid choices...

After the first of the year the restaurant/bar business is as slow as it gets and I'm sure any of them would be happy to have us show up... Call up and say we have a party of XX and we'll be there X PM on 1/xx/11. Tell them Jeff's paying and we'll be thirsty. All is good. :)

Any updates? We could even do just an informal gathering if people don't want to get too crazy involved. Grab a bunch of tables at one of these places and just hang out and BS.

So we moved it to january where more people Sh it on that Idea. so I havent done anything cause I am ANNOYED!:eek:

How about we make it the weekend before valentines?
A sort of...love the fact that winter's ending, wives won't like us for a week ('cause we're generous on v-day)...and glad we missed all the wintery crap...?

Valentines party would be a cool Idea not sure the women would like it so much. Too much testosterone for them probably but who cares!

Do we want a quiet meeting place to sit and talk? Or do we want a fun place to have a couple and play pool? If a fun place is what we want, how about Rookies in Cromwell? Lots of seating, food, pool tables, ect. Usually lots to do and see there, or we can just get a table and BS.... And its centerally located. Just a suggestion.....Are wives and g/f invited or just us? Do we have a club fee due at this time?

For this event I was thinking place to have fun and hangout. I would say if you want to bring the other half why not. We just want to get everyone together and put faces to names.

I'm not sure you want to do that. If so, you at the least might want to post a pic or two of Jeff on here beforehand....
