86BAJA,
Are you putting the teak boards back on the bow or are they painted? My 84 Force 250 had the Teak boards, I sanded them smooth and finished with Sikens and they look awesome. I love the lines and use of teak on the older boats.

PSI, Ya I actually just got the teak done and when I finish the windscreen i am going to put it all back on. I got all black plexiglass non-see through ordered and re-doing the frame myself actually started the sanding tonight (not fun). If you have some pics send em i always get ideas looking at other boats...Question?...What is sikens? is it just a version of teak oil or is a gloss finish on the teak? First boat so still learning a lot.

Sikens is a stain made for teak. I love the look of natural teak w/oil but it is WAY too much maintenance. Below are a few pics of my teak with a couple coats of Sikens.

Also you might want to consider removing the railings. I took mine off and just filled the holes with a stainless bolt and some silicone. It will give the boat a much sleaker look.
