Is aircraft stripper safe for removing paint on a boat???

If you have that much paint on there, I'd probably take it down with abrasives... save yourself a ton of work!

ive heard blasting makes it wavy as hell.......everybody who ive talked to that had something blasted regretted it. maybe ive just the heard the bad and not the good????????

A friend of mine owns a body shop. I know he has had a couple of vettes sent out (to them) and has not had an issue. With that said, he primes and blocks everything afterwards to make sure they are wave-free.
Heat is the enemy, so media selection and proper technique is critical.
I can't image removing 33' of ten layers of paint with chemicals... I would think that would take forever. I'd even break out the 36 grit before I tried that!
