Well, this past weekend I finally was able to get my pops out on the boat.. Nothing like sunny with a high of 48 F. Great boating weather............
We hit the Lake Monona in Madison, WI. I was really excited to get my dad out on the boat... Other than a little coldness, He loved it.

wow! just read the entire tread!!!!
when buying a boat, ''mint'' is not the same for everybody for sure! You're lucky your girlfriend stayed with you, participated in the build, let you do glass work in the kitchen, and then married you!!! Who knows what 's next!
you now have a new boat, you can either sell it advertising ''mint'' condition, or, with the last pictures of your tread, give it to Jr someday !
Congrats for the boat, and probably for an already born kid as of today!

J-Bonz,
You never did say how it ran. Did you get any baseline numbers (speed, RPM, etc.) that you can share with us? Remember, some of us have pretty similar hulls.
BTW, as I've said before, that was truly a labor of love and you did it in stellar fashion. Thanks for sharing all of it with all of us.

Thanks for the kind words!! Waiting for the weather to break. I still need to install my bow hatch, wire up shore power, and install some subs somewhere.... As for the Kid, He is ready to go boating!

J-bonz, I had a pik of your interior saved, just liked the colors and layout. Anyways I just got my little boat, Dave was over looking at it as I was describing what i wanted to do and said "yeah, I painted that one and the center console idea...no problem" Rofl. why you gotta be so close that I can't steal your design.. Two little white boats with blue trim at the casino....
