Almost forgot! I talked to the service manager at Pacific Power boats (repair center in my area) and we discussed what I have going on and the possible "what-ifs". To remove the engines they get $1100 each, for the center stringer repairs $1000, the bulkhead repairs another $1000 and if the transom is toast another $3000.

For the prices quoted, If it were my boat, I'd yank the motors myself and drop her off. That seems like a fair price considering the labor involved.

Yes the extra $2200 would sure help with the next pitfall....whatever that is lol!

Take a wire or fish tape, and shove it in the drain holes in the bilge to see if those tubes go all the way to the cabin, or if those are simply a couple inch long tubes just long enough to go thru each bulkhead.

I don't think there is too much to pulling the engines but what do I know...but for that price I'm going to find out!

If the price is to pull and re-install the engines, I can see the number as it's easy enough to pull them, but the re-install and alignment will take some time.

I haven't seen many pics of your boat, but the drains all the way up front were probably put there because someone had a hatch open or left the boat uncovered in a storm with the bow down. A large part of my job is to try and make things idiot resistant, as the rest is no such thing as idiot proofing anything.

and as we all know.... chit happens, and at the worst possible time. Lol!
