I would have no problem using the nason Ful-Thane 2k urethane single stage. If I was to do over again that would be what I would use on the top and sides. The nason single stage flows out really nice and polishes very well. We have seen it used over the past decade. And has held gloss very well. This line is very user friendly. The single stage should only be used for solid colors.
Nason single stage Ful-Thane IB quality
1 gallon white $157.13
1 Quart reducer $11.99
1 Pint Activator $45.70
Total $214.82

Turned out different then our drawing but still stands out. Was kinda fun. I give credit to Dave and the others that do nice custom paint jobs. It is a good amount of work and you have to be creative. We kept it simple on mine.

We used 400 with a da. Really was just a scuff and shoot. We have had customers do the block sanding making them very straight and flat. Problem is it is fiberglass and get hot and moves. Plus lets be honest it is a 24 Baja.
