Cabin seat/bed convertable build?
I have two benches face to face and would like to build a center section as many boats have. Anyone have pics to show how this is constructed?
Where do the cusions go when the bed is stowed? In a 30' with little head room, I plan to do not much more than sleep so getting the beds right is most important.

Not sure how your sea config is, but mine has a wood backed seat bottom and back cusion. To make the bed, you place the seat bottoms on the floor between the couches.(Both of them are slightly higher than the seat bases.) You then slide the seat back down flat. They are made to fit perfectly, It gives you a bed about the size of a queen. I have never slept in my V-birth because this bed is square and has much more head room.
The big plus is you do not need to store the cusions or any supports.

that is the plan. questions....
My Seat bases are about 18" from floor. I'm thinking the wood backed cushions hill Span across the top of these. Is that how yours works or does it sit on the floor?
When it is not a bed do bases and backs attach or just sit there?
Do you happen to have pics?
